The most common combinations of two letters include all four of these particular letters. The letters A, E, I, and O are more commonly referred to as vowels than the other letters in the alphabet. There are a few additional letters beyond that, all of which have numerous different uses. There is a wide variety of work that may be done with these letters. In all other circumstances, however, only the vowel sounds can be taken into consideration.
