Tattoos are permanent designs or patterns that are put on the skin with ink and needles. It means to stick a needle into the skin and inject ink into it. Once the ink gets into the second layer of skin, the wound scabs over and the skin heals, revealing a design under the new layer of skin that can't be taken off. Umrah can be performed after booking the Full Ramadan Umrah Packages. According to Islamic teaching, both our bodies and our souls are gifts from Allah, and they both have to go back to him.

Umrah With Tattoo On Body

So, it is up to man to take care of both his body and his soul. Because suicide hurts our bodies, Allah made it forbidden. Tattooing hurts people and changes their bodies into designs that Allah did not make, so it is not allowed in Islam.

The scholars all agree that tattoos are forbidden, or Haram. Abd-Allah Ibn Masood RA said that the Messenger of Allah said:

Allah is angry with women who get tattoos or have them done, as well as women who pluck their eyebrows or file their teeth to make themselves look better or change the way Allah made them.

With this Hadith, it's clear that someone who gets a tattoo on their body is trying to change what Allah made, and Allah SWT will curse that person. But if someone becomes a Muslim after getting tattoos on his body when he was not a Muslim, Allah will forgive him if he asks Him sincerely and says sorry, because He is the best forgiver. If a person truly repents and feels bad about what they did, Allah Almighty will forgive them because of the kindness of the King of all the Kingdoms.

Prophet PBUH said:

"One who makes up for sins is like one who never sinned at all."

Tirimidhi says that women who get tattoos are cursed, but the curse is lifted when the person who cursed them says they're sorry. Sheikh Abd-Alazeez Ibn Baaz RA said:

"If a Muslim does something when he doesn't know it's wrong or if it's done to him when he's a child, he has to stop doing it when he finds out it's Haram. But if sluicing it is too hard or will hurt him, he only needs to apologise and ask for forgiveness; it doesn't matter if the mark stays on his body.

If someone has to get rid of it with a laser or surgery that costs a lot and burns the skin, he doesn't have to do that. Instead, he should ask Allah for forgiveness because it's too hard and will hurt and hurt. Allah SWT says:

"And (Allah) has not made you give up anything in your religion. It's enough that you feel bad about what happened, hate it, and are determined to never do it again. Also, Islam tries to erase the past, so in this case, leaving it alone shouldn't hurt you.

Through all of these Hadith, Verses, and Fatwas, it is clear that a Muslim who gets tattoos on his body knowing that it is against Islam is not allowed and his Umrah is not accepted. However, a person who converts to Islam and feels bad about his or her past life and asks Allah for forgiveness will have his or her Umrah or Hajj accepted. In the Fatwa from Islam Web, it says that if you can't get rid of your tattoo, you can still go on Hajj. Just like Salah, Hajj and Umrah will not be accepted if done with tattoos because we don't do Wudhu and we don't even get clean because unwanted ink is injected into our bodies and the material used to make that ink is not Halal. So, it is clearly understandable that is ink is not Halal than how a tattoo made by that ink is? In the same way, it's not good for our bodies and a person can't even give blood.

Allah is the forgiver and if one asks for repentance with sincerity He SWT will definitely forgive him. But as Muslims, we have to stay away from Haram things because if we do them on purpose, we are sinners and our Hajj and Umrah may not be accepted.
