How Slides Empower Children

Slides are not a childhood play source but it also gives them superpowers! Climbing to the top of a slide has bias simplicity and is, I believe, experimental in a regressive way. When children climb some element to get themselves into or onto something high up, it is because they are testing their strength of soul. When they work the mechanism that transports them above the world and then drop down through it, they grasp, with metal hands upon which easily a small finger can be broken between joined mechanisms (say two parts of a folding chair), at power. If I pull on this lever maybe I will find Socrates. They also develop their sense of balance and coordination as they make their way through the ladder and slide. Upon surpassing obstacles and learning new abilities, children gain a sense of independence, which also then contributes to their ability to be resilient – all from the simple act of sliding down a slide!

Why Kids Can't Resist Sliding

Do you ever wonder why kids love to keep going on the slide again, and again, and again? This is due to the fact that, when your child goes down the slide, it initiates a release of dopamine — other feel-good chemicals are released as well. These are the chemicals that generate feelings of happiness and pleasure, so sliding is an activity children become addicted to. The thrill of going down and the rush of joy it gives will keep kids returning to go again, looking for that same joy.
