Lenovo Tab X304L – My Random Thoughts

Okay so uh, I got this Lenovo Tab X304L a few days ago and I just thought I’d like, type something down really quick before I forget cuz sometimes I try to remember stuff later and totally forget. Honestly at first I was like meh, another tablet, right? There’s like a million tablets out there now and everyone’s always hyping the newest iPad or Samsung Galaxy thing and I wasn’t expecting much from this one. But uh, surprise, it’s actually kinda okay, like not perfect or anything but decent enough.

First Impressions

When I first took it out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the black color. It’s simple, not flashy at all, kinda boring maybe, but I dunno, I kinda liked it. Feels solid in hand, not too light, not too heavy, just… comfy to hold for a while. The screen is 10.1 inch, HD, not super crisp or amazing like OLED stuff, but good enough for Netflix, YouTube, scrolling memes, whatever. The bezels are kinda thick tho, feels old-school, but maybe that’s good cuz you don’t accidentally touch the screen while holding it.

Performance – Surprisingly Not Bad

So specs: Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage. Sounds super low, right? I thought so too at first, but honestly, for normal stuff it works fine. Browsing, YouTube, Netflix, social media apps, reading news, light games… it runs okay. It’s not fast like crazy new tablets, don’t get me wrong, but it does the job. If you open too many apps at once, it kinda slows down or freezes, obviously, and forget about heavy games like PUBG or COD mobile, it just can’t handle it. But for like, everyday stuff, it’s okay.

Connectivity – The 4G is Actually Nice

One thing I actually liked was the 4G LTE. Not all cheap tablets even have this, and it’s kinda convenient. I put a SIM card in, and boom, internet anywhere. It’s actually super handy if you travel a lot or your Wi-Fi sucks at home. Makes it feel like a mini-laptop replacement for emails or checking social media on the go.

Battery Life – Pretty Solid

The battery is 7000mAh, and I was kinda expecting it to die halfway through the day, but nope, it lasted me pretty much the whole day. I mean, I was watching YouTube, scrolling Instagram, listening to music with the screen on sometimes… didn’t die or anything. That’s actually impressive for this little tablet. Like yeah, it’s not 2-day battery level, but for me, a full day is enough.

Cameras and Storage – Meh

Cameras are… basic. 5MP rear, 2MP front. Don’t expect Instagram-level quality, lol. Works fine for video calls or quick pics tho. Storage is kinda small, only 16GB. After installing a few apps and some videos, it fills up fast. Luckily it has a microSD slot, so I threw in a 64GB card and suddenly I felt like I had way more space, which is nice.

Who Should Actually Buy This?

Honestly, I think this tablet is good for students, kids, travelers, or someone who just needs a cheap tablet for Netflix, browsing, social media, and reading. Not for heavy gaming or editing videos or anything like that. If you want fancy stuff, this ain’t it. But if you just want something simple and cheap that works, it’s kinda perfect.

Random Thoughts

I dunno, there’s just something kinda nice about it. Like it’s simple, doesn’t try too hard to be fancy, just works. Kinda like that comfy old sweatshirt you wear all the time. Not flashy, not the newest fashion thing, but reliable. Oh, also the speakers aren’t amazing, not super loud or rich, but fine for personal use. I mean, you won’t hear explosions like in a real gaming laptop, but for Netflix in bed, totally fine.

Also, the tablet is kinda light to carry, fits in a backpack, easy to just grab and go. I think parents would like it for kids too, cuz you don’t have to worry about scratching it like an expensive iPad. And the build is kinda solid, feels like it can survive a couple of minor drops… hopefully.

Conclusion – My Thoughts

So yeah, that’s my messy review I guess. Lenovo Tab X304L isn’t perfect, it has flaws, but for what it is, it’s a pretty decent little tablet. Affordable, simple, reliable, and it actually works for daily stuff. Honestly, if you’re like me and just want a tablet for Netflix, browsing, social media, and staying connected, this is not a bad choice.
