Begin the Wordle Game by entering your first word (we've got some helpful hints right below). You've found the day's featured word if any of the letters you typed appeared as green when you did so. You can see this in action by typing in "Walks" and the word of the day is "Sable," and the letter A would light up in green.

To determine whether or not a letter has been selected as the word of the day based on its yellow color, you must put in the letter and see if it shows up as a yellow letter. The letters S and L in "Sable" would appear yellow since they are in the word, but they are not in the correct place in relation to the rest of the word.
While the letters W and K would appear to be grayed out, this indicates that they are not part of the final phrase. A must remain where it is, S and L should be shifted, and no W or K should be used in any subsequent word.
