Why Quinton De Kock Is Not Playing

Star South African wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock is not playing Monday’s IPL 2025 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

 The former DC, MI and LSG stumper has been dropped from the playing XI after a string of flop performances.

 Afghanistan wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz has replaced him in the playing XI, and Gurbaz will open the innings as well for the Ajinkya Rahane-led side against the table-toppers in front of home fans.
