Ayush Mhatre Cricketer

Ayush Mhatre is yet another teen batting sensation from Mumbai. He took to the game when he was five, but it was at 15 that he transitioned to thinking about professional cricket.
To chase his dreams, he travelled nearly 80 kilometers one way by train from Virar (outside Mumbai) to Churchgate (next to Wankhede Stadium) to access the game.
At 17, he earned a first-class debut for Mumbai and made his maiden first-class century in just his third game in the 2024/25 Ranji Trophy season.
On the last day of 2024, Mhatre broke List-A records when he scored 181 off 117 balls in the Vijay Hazare Trophy to become the youngest to hit 150 or more in an innings. He took the record off Yashasvi Jaiswal, back then Mhatre's teammate.
