Spirit Airlines allows children aged 5 to 14 to travel as Unaccompanied Minors (UMs) on direct domestic flights only. The UM service includes a fee, which covers a dedicated airline representative who assists the child through check-in, boarding, and meeting the designated guardian at the destination. Parents or guardians must complete a UM form and provide identification. Minors aged 15 to 17 can travel alone without UM service but opt for it if desired.
