The Indian Asthma Care Society (IACS) was founded on 21st May 1985 with the visionary leadership of Dr. U.S. Mathur as the Founding President and Dr. Virendra Singh as the Founding Secretary. Since its establishment, IACS has remained dedicated to improving respiratory health across India. The society has played a pivotal role in educating asthma patients, promoting awareness about asthma management, and conducting impactful anti-tobacco campaigns to reduce preventable respiratory diseases.
