Diablo Resurrected will be the final version of the game, which includes the original game as well as its Lord of Destruction expansion. The most important change is the visual style which is played at 4K resolution.  On a practical level, Resurrected doesn't change much in the core gameplay of the original game, which was the goal, as per Blizzard. However, there are some improvements to the game which aim to make dungeon crawling and development of power easier for the class you choose. The most significant change related to flow of loot and control of loot is the newly introduced shared stash box, allowing you to share your items between different characters.

In the first game, the idea of sharing items with all your characters, you would need to locate an available server remove your equipment, switch to a different character and then take their items in order to share the items. This new mechanic doesn't substantially change the game, but it makes things easier for those with a lot of dedication somewhat more manageable. In our talk in Buy D2R Ladder Items conversation with designer Andre Abrahamian, he explained that a lot of the more complicated and possibly outdated game mechanics are still relevant.
