Although little of Shadowlands inspired the kind of passion that players from the long-running MMORPG are beginning to WoTLK Gold love about WoW but there are positive signs about the game's potential. In the aftermath of the state of California's lawsuit of claiming Activision Blizzard of fostering a "frat boy" culture of discrimination and harassment against women, the WoW design team decided to have an honest examination of the game and began to remove or modify some of its more questionable contents in the name of creating an inclusive environment. In the game's 9.1.5 patch included Blizzard listen to the community's comments and implement sweeping changes to unpopular systems, such as the possibility to exchange Covenants and the removal of Conduit Energy as well as changes to allow for more friendly play for players who have multiple characters. Blizzard created a WoW Community Council, meant to represent a broad range of players to communicate more directly with the general public and get feedback. The announcement was made (to great reviews from fans) to the delight of fans that Horde and Alliance players will soon be able participate in group content together to break down a long-standing barrier that has existed since the beginning of the game. Patch 9.2 introduced a new zone activity, raid, and zones that have been generally well-liked by the community. the patch's test cycle saw Blizzard adopt a number of changes as a result of feedback from players.

The above information is a positive step in the right direction. Unfortunately, a lot of those changes (specifically in relation to Shadowlands) are way too little, far too in the past. It shouldn't take half of the time it took to hear feedback from the community and to make changes to widely-disliked systems. Ideally, such system shouldn't even made it into the game in the first place and certainly wouldn't If Blizzard had paid more attention to its players during the weeks leading up to Shadowlands the game's release.

The official announcement for WoW's next expansion is just in the near future on April 19th. What's to come for players is not yet known, but it's clear that Blizzard cannot take the same approach for this expansion that it did for the last two. In light of the amount of time normally set aside for playtesting in public, the previous cycle of expansion releases, as well as the ever-present issues of working from home due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, chances are high that this new expansion won't be released in 2022. It will be released in buy WoTLK Gold 2023. If this happens it's this is the first time within the game's history that an expansion has taken more than two decades to be released.
