I wanted a stylish theme with a lot of whites, and greens along with a hint of blush pink and gold.

What was most significant to you?

I think the flowers were vital that you. I love floristry and wanted beautiful, fresh flowers everywhere, and candles allow it a romantic feel. I knew I had to possess fantastic entertainment to ensure it was a marriage people wouldn’t forget. We had singing waiters that were a complete surprise to any or all our guests, also it got everyone up dancing! We then had an electrical violinist in the evening along with a saxophonist, which everyone loved.

Did you've any concept of what style or form of prom dresses you had been looking for?

STACEES TINA WEDDING DRESS

I always knew I wanted a satin wedding gown and one which was fitted but I desired to try on every style of wedding gown just to make sure. I probably tried on over twenty dresses in several shops. To be honest, many of the wedding dresses that I liked around the hanger I didn’t like on me. A lot of them appeared to swamp me or simply looked nice but didn’t possess the wow factor that I really wanted. All I knew was that I wanted something very special and unique. I’ve visited a lot of weddings and seen lots of people around me get married and I knew I wanted my dress to become completely different from anything I had seen before.

Where have you bought your dress from?

I got my dream dress from Ring o Roses in Blackfen. My wedding gown is so unique since it actually never made the Ronald Joyce collection! It was created by the award-winning designer Veni Infantino but it had been felt the dress was too unique to become put into production so the prototype was sold towards the shop and I was the very first person to test it on!

Who opted for you to put on dresses?

I opted for just my mum and nanny. It was vital that you help keep my dress a surprise for everybody else.

Any strategies for future brides?

I would say make sure you put on every single dress! Even if you don’t such as the look of it around the hanger. I really didn’t such as the look of my wedding gown on the hanger but I used it on and thankfully I did.

Also if there’s one area of the dress you don’t like, you may make changes! The dress dropped very low and showed my cleavage which I didn’t like, but I was able to hide it with a few sparkly appliqué. It also had three layers at the end, and I removed one so I just had 2 layers in front but kept the three layers behind.

Just try to enjoy the whole experience and never fuss an excessive amount about the small things, everything eventually comes together!
