Hazel, an innovative director and property developer Ben first met nine years back. They married on 10 August 2018 within their village church, All Saints' Church, Fawley, Hampshire having a reception afterward within the incredible, Solent from the coast of Portsmouth. Their big day was characterized by an elegant yet joyful color palette of silvery blue, pure white, and splashes of yellow, having a style that evolved naturally using their shared tastes and interests. Choosing the church was simple for the couple because it was here were Hazel's parents married, in addition to where the bride-to-be and her brother were christened.

Despite the rain, I love these atmospheric images, whose work captures such movement and emotion. The photographs from the story are extremely special too, and also the pops of yellow bring these phones to life. Robin is experienced in making the very best of sunlight, as I'm sure you can observe from these wonderful images.

Hazel's choice was the 'Blush' dress, which features a fitted, beaded bodice and gorgeous and understated (and removable) tulle T-shirt detail. I love the contemporary style of the bodice which flows right into a thoroughly bridal skirt.

"The shape fitted me immediately and felt amazing. I loved the beading – it had been just the right quantity of elegant, sparkly, and unique within the pattern. I originally thought I wanted a lace dress and extremely liked many of them but none of these stood out I believe like this one. Once I use it I didn't even wish to take it off!"

The coastal setting influenced the bridesmaids' gowns – maxi silvery-blue bridesmaid dresses with sequinned bodices – that they wore with headpieces by to enhance the bride's.

Her mum's veil, which was embroidered with tiny seed pearls, would be a wonderful touch and she or he also wore earrings gifted to her by Ben. The simple neckline from the gown was offset with a multi-strand pearl necklace.

"We met when we were both working at Beaulieu Motor Museum around the monorail! We were together exactly seven years along with a day whenever we got engaged after we had bought our first house together."

"Ben took us for any weekend in Wales (where I have been at university and Ben had started his business) to visit exploring round the south coast visiting plenty of castles on the way. It was supposed to have been on our seventh anniversary but I was having a lot of fun that Ben didn't circumvent it."

I love how the pair were able to spend some time together around the ferry, which Robin captured on camera, enjoying one another's company along with a glass of Champagne. Meanwhile, your guests were treated to packed lunches for that trip – a team effort through the bride, groom as well as their families.

For the reception and wedding ceremony, Hazel removed the tulle T-shirt for any glamorous evening look; this type of simple method to switch your bridal style. The Spitbank Fort team served the marriage breakfast of British-style tapas, but dessert was interrupted by a surprise flypast through the iconic Red Arrows. Robin Goodlad was able to capture these wonderful sunshiney shots that are just gorgeous.

Ben and Hazel have such precious memories from your day.

Ben: "Without any doubt, my favorite moment was my first glimpse of Hazel as she dropped the aisle – wow. I loved holding her hand at the altar and through the ceremony. It was very exciting running on the pontoon with Hazel, us, and friends within the wind and pouring rain to trap the ferry."

"Then later once the sun and rainbows arrived on the scene, we went towards the top deck and watched the Red Arrows show. It was like it had been put on only for us (it had been Cowes week) – epic!"

Hazel: "When Ben held my hand on the altar, I've never been more comfortable or more excited. Saying our vows to one another was wonderful. When we got towards the ferry the fireman's-lifted me out from the car so I didn't need to step within the puddles."

"That was fun – a bit like whenever we popped the fizz around the top deck from the boat with wind and rain pelting down at us; it had been so crazy and awesome! The food was amazing, and exceeded all expectations."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't be worried about anyone else. They will take proper care of themselves, and talk amongst one another. Be with your husband/wife, not spreading yourselves too thinly around your friends and relatives. They all loved that I was together, happy and excited – not busy making small talk to them! It meant we had the very best time possible together, together."
