Sahibzada Farhan eyes Pakistan comeback after consistent PSL form

Islamabad United opener Sahibzada Farhan is making the most of his chances in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, and with every outing, he’s pushing his case for a return to the national side.

Farhan, who wasn’t picked in the initial PSL Player Draft this season, forced his way into the Islamabad United setup after a strong domestic season. In an interview with PCB Digital, he credited his National T20 Cup performance as the turning point.

“I had performed well in the National T20 and knew there were a few spots up for grabs,” he said. “Credit to Islamabad United for showing faith and picking me.”

The right-handed batter emerged as the top scorer in the National T20 Cup, piling up 605 runs in just seven innings at a staggering strike rate of 189.66 and an average of 121.
