PVC wall panels or floors are widely used. What are the steps and matters needing attention when installing PVC as a wall panel?
- First, measure the length of the PVC board to be installed, and cut the length of the aluminum alloy according to the size. According to the size of the wallboard, calculate the integer block required for the wallboard, and use the wallboard to join the excess space.
- Nail the fixing holes on the intercepted aluminum alloy, punch holes on the wall according to the spacing of the holes on the P aluminum alloy, and fix the baseboard hooks on the wall with expansion screws or steel nails.
- To install the top corner line, usually apply special glue on both sides, then stick it on the top corner, pull it apart for a few minutes, and then stick it tightly. In areas with high humidity, appropriate expansion joints should be left when the two baseboards merge, especially in the corners where furniture is placed.
- Install the PVC board, insert the panel into the skirting line from left to right, and open the groove from the corner to the corner of the starter block. Install expansion screws or steel nails, 1.5cm away from the top of the wallboard, pay attention that the screws cannot be exposed on the surface of the wallboard. The waistline slot is coated with special glue and inserted into the concave and convex surface after a few minutes. The corners must be 45° diagonal.
- Install rubber anti-collision strips on the aluminum alloy bayonet, insert the left and right sealing strips at both ends of the wall panel, cut the length of the PVC board, cover the panel on the aluminum alloy, and complete the installation.
- After the installation is completed, the two edges of the corners need to be coated with special glue, stuck on the top corner, and then pulled apart for a period of time, and then attached tightly. This will increase the firmness of the panel and extend its lifespan.
