JW Anderson is set to release his latest collaboration with Converse by adding a new midsole to the Chuck Taylor creating the Run Star Hike. The collaboration drew immediate
attention when it debuted during the designer’s Spring/Summer Collection show last September in London. It features a White canvas upper atop a chunky midsole tooling from the
converse run star hike homme, a runner that debuted in 2018. The date “1917” written by the usual All-Star logo honors
the birth of the original model. A combination of Gum, White, and Blue on the outsole completes the design.

The converse chuck 70 blanche features a printed ripstop nylon upper which bears a seasonal real tree camouflage that is used heavily within the Carhartt WIP F/W19 collection. The Chuck 70 Black, meanwhile, borrows from seasonal reworkings of iconic Carhartt WIP pieces, which combine tonal canvas and corduroy. This can be seen on the upper, comprised of 8 wale cord and a robust cotton twill, which lends the shoe a subtle, textured aesthetic. Both sneakers come with two sets of laces with Carhartt WIP branding on the tips, and co-branded footbeds.
