A lot of people want a traditional plus. The Burning Crusade Classic Gold majority of people believe activision has the staff and capabilities to create a classical plus. Activision isn't likely to invest millions of dollars in a classic plus. That basically means that all vanilla's offerings are a waste. Management isn't making the L, and admitting they aren't able to make a decent mmo. They would hire Kevin Jordan if they were smart.

Because everyone is dealing with so many issues and wants changes, SoM seems odd. However, this is the same type of discussion that led us to wow's demise (noobs asking dualspec, removal of grinding, speedier leveling). We can't afford to keep catering for players who want to play the game less or count on activision players who do not know what mmos is about anymore. It is time to hire more developers and rid themselves of ion.

Personally, I would like vanilla to remain the same and left in its natural state. It's certainly one of the most enjoyable games ever created and making any changes would likely ruin the experience overall.

They'll not do classic plus because retail is an option. If titan had succeeded with its original plans, warcraft would have gone out of existence long ago and we'd still be playing as a successor to WoW, because this is what overwatch was designed to become.

However, they will not do traditional plus without setting aside the retail. Since attempting to create original ideas for 2 separate mmo's is way too chaotic

If you look at the people who play different games right now, they're getting revelations that TBC and beyond is distinct or it's a different style, or something like or less as retail or other games: it's all the same things and tools, but different grouping and transportationmethods, as well as different XP bars.

After playing through Classic WoW and then seeing what Blizzard did to create honey-to-do chores to keep players in Burning Crusade with rep farming as well as heroic dungeon grinds for me it was a confirmation that this game was a hamster wheel for twenty years. It wasn't an issue with Activision they had been greedy all along and needed sub-goals.

If this is not the ideal game plan for you then it's possible that you weren't satisfied with the game or with the people you were with. This is also a great strategy for certain types of players. I discovered that the treadmill blizzard was something I enjoy regardless of the cheap WOW TBC Gold model, whether Diablo Classic, Diablo or even retail. It's what it is and not as you believe it is.
