Because I don't want tank as you would. ...? Why do I have to do 1k+ dps when I could achieve 500-600 dps overall? (I've done 950 dps on some boss fights, believe it or not) Off heal when required, off tank Burning Crusade Classic Gold when necessary, and battle res in order to ensure that the group doesn't wipe after someone screws up and the healer is not in the right place, and then give everyone in the group an extra 5% in crit?

Yes, my character is a feraland can relate. Though I'm prone to tank, at times I just want to relax and earn some badges. But it just feels awful when the group is pulling aoe and I'm slamming away at a single mob that does not die before I've earned 5 combo points. Unfortunately, Cat doesn't shine in five mens. But the potential utility you've mentioned is certainly nice. If there's an arcane mages among your players, they'll surely like the innervates. It helps me feel a bit better about my personal DPS.

You can heal your wild through the power of spells. You're not a boomkin with magical power. Yes, I'm instructing you on how to play , but even doing 950 is like 2/3 of the biggest dps classes and any lower than that amount of damage is practically the equivalent of carrying. For example, 500 dps can be considered an amount that the team can carry. When you make dps participate in these scenarios, you lose all power over the leaders of your dungeon group.

Only off-heals are allowed for healing when the healer is incapacitated (and their health is deteriorating dangerously) or oom/innervate is cooling down ..... I'll off tank when needed or when the tank is down due to any reason, and the bres is cooling down.

You must constantly be grouping with some pretty amazing dps due to the fact that on average I see most other classes pulling 700-1.2k in total. My average for a hybrid class isn't good considering all the other aspects I contribute to it. I also give five percent more criticism to everybody else.

Yeah my point is you can wield more power in your group's performance and ability to get the items you want by tanking. Even when your raid's dps isn't great. My primary role is lock and yeah i can achieve 1500 dps. My other ret pally is around 800+ dps on trash and 1k+ when it comes to bosses. I gained all my ret gear on the pally by tanking and healing whenever I needed to, and later, I was able to acquire the gear for dps when I ran alongside other cheap WOW TBC Gold classes who would be competing with me or excluding them from competition.
