Two goats who were evidently older than the other
Two goats who were evidently older than Mut 22 coins the other and caused a ruckus in the barn, before emerging to show the year.
We have just a few days to find out who will be featured on the cover of this year's issue. We decided to review a handful of candidates who might be candidates for the distinction. Below, you'll find our top three choices for one cover athlete as an individual and our top choices if EA Sports decides to go for a two-person cover like they appear to suggest they'll be doing with that teaser below.
The last three Madden NFL cover athletes have been quarterbacks. It only makes sense that our first selection is also one who plays under center. Following a season in 2020 where he was an MVP quarterback, Bills quarterback Josh Allen is a fantastic choice for the next season of the videogame franchise. After playing in the AFC Championship, Allen set new records in his career for passing yards as well as passing touchdowns. He was Buffalo just two steps away from getting a Super Bowl appearance. Allen is definitely a superstar at this point in his career and Bills Mafia certainly would like to see him become the first team member in history to have his name -as well as the logo of the team on the cover.
If you don't want to cover the quarterback, then I don't see how you can overlook Derrick Henry. It was even reported that there was a report in March that suggested Henry could be the cover's favorite athlete. While it remains unknown whether he'll be featured on this year's cover, Henry is certainly deserving of the honor. Sometimes, the massive running back appears to be something from the video game when the defenders he tackles are pushed over regularly. Henry led the league in rushing back-to-back years and beat every skill position player in 2020 for the longest number of years of cheap Madden 22 coins scrimmage (2141). If an entire season in which you average 126.7 yards of rushing per game isn't enough to earn you the attention of Madden NFL, I'm not sure which one will.
