Believe it or not, Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace pulled off what felt like an impossible task with landing quarterback Justin Fields at No. 11 overall. The best news? It didn’t cost them their second or third-round pick this year. The Bears still have plenty of needs but one would have to believe the focus is still on the offensive side of the ball. They do need help at offensive tackle and wide receiver, two spots they could go with their two Day 2 picks on Friday. They could also address the tight end position on Day 3 as well.

With that being said, there’s still plenty of defensive talent on the boards as well. Defensive back, safety, inside linebacker and edge are positions where the Bears could use some help as well, potentially for depth purposes and even a starter at some spots. The options are out there for the Bears and with picks in the second and third round, as well as four sixth-round picks left on Day 3 as well. It certainly will be interesting to see what they do over the course of the next two days but before that, we need to focus on Friday's two rounds.

What will the Bears do heading into a crucial period in the draft where they need another pair of starting-caliber players to contribute in 2021? They will have plenty of options over the next two rounds. Let's get into the top available players at edge rusher, defensive back, wide receiver and the best of the rest.
