Concepts and Vans are continuing their long-standing collaborative relationship with a brand-new Vans Old Skool Women inspired by the culture surrounding Times Square in the 1970s. Entitled the “Forty Deuce” (slang for NYC’s 42nd Street), the sneaker features a bleached black denim and cracked black leather upper with a debossed Concepts logo on the heel pad and waxed black laces. A black midsole and classic

Solid gum rubber soles on a pair of Vans is always a good thing. And the design cue has arguably never looked better than on this latest duo of the Vans Old Skool Sale in your choice of dark grey or black suede and canvas uppers. In fact, the gum-coloring can be found on more than just the soles of these Vans classics, as the signature side-stripes also come in a gum hue.

The Vans Old Skool Men and Sk8-Hi are built with leather and suede panels, the iconic checkerboard pattern on the medial side, and the distinct red Vans stripe to reflect the retailer’s chief color. Further notes of homage are seen on the lace-tips, which feature “Bascom”, and 25th Anniversary insoles.
