I remember someone even inquiring on those forums,"If there's only 1 Xmas cracker abandoned in all of OSRS gold, what do you really think it'll be worth?" I think the answer is, it is going to be worth whatever value to the person that owns it - because there will be no other ones.

Post some of your ideas on items that are discontinued. P.S.. While training at lessers, a Runescaper was telling me about the prices of runes 6 decades ago (she hasn't played for a while). I said"That's quite a while ago". She then responded that she was around RS for at least 6 years, she had been about for Runescape Classic: ). I inquired,"Did you get any holiday items (e.g. Xmas cracker)?" She said she'd 500 party hats and 30 santa hats in her first Runescape account. . She replied that she has those things inside her original account, but she forgot the password to that account.

Before the dungeoneering update along with the benefits that came with it, imo the walnut shortbow has been the most frequently encountered bow utilized. Individuals cited reasons such as a fast attack rate and reasonable harm as motives as to why they chose it on maple longs. Users of maple longbows were indeed few and far between, I myself only chanced upon a walnut longbow user once I was at Clan Wars FFA. (As a matter of fact, he used the more range of the longbow to shoot while my shortbow could not hit him).

Users of other varients of bows like the crossbow were even fewer, with the composite bows being a luxury item that couple 60+ managed to afford. Crossbows were used occasionally in clan wars by people wielding it along with a defense, but I seldom saw composite bows being spilled. This was how it stood prior to the upgrade (in my opinion). Most damage per strike: Maple lengthy, accurate style, assuming similar arrows were used. Most cost efficient: Either maple long or walnut short. Definately not willow comp. Most damage over time: Maple short. Most commonly used: Maple brief.

Best complete bow in my opinion: Willow comp (Mostly because I purchased one and liked the blend of extra attack at the cost of speed, but not as slow as a longbow, with a great bonus array ) However, with the recent dungeoneering update, it seems like Just Concerning the Gaming EXperience (aka Jagex) determined the walnut longbow was under-utilized. Together with the longbow sight today employed, it provides a hefty bonus of +110 range attack bonus on top of the typical bonuses a walnut longbow has. I'd like to see what the reactions of the Sal's community are roughly like. Can this upgrade make longbows more popular due to their high harm, and perhaps even the very popular bow being wielded? Will it make comp. Bow users even less due to buy runescape 3 gold more people switching to sighted longbows?
