Whether the items in the pack can be considered duplicates

In the end the Dutch government has ruled that gaming loot boxes as well and required that EA take them out of the game or risk fines, which EA has appealed. If this is to become a frequent problem for EA and its players, then these demo packs might represent an effort to offer loot boxes, but still comply with gambling laws.
