Many people are now using fenbendazole to treat their cancer. This medication is usually used to treat parasites and worms in animals (brand names include Safe-Guard and Pancur) but is now being prescribed for humans by doctors as part of the Joe Tippens Protocol. The reason for this is that it appears to be very effective against cancer. Multiple scientific journal articles and reports have shown that fenbendazole can cure or prevent tumors in humans and is effective against metastatic cancer as well.

The benzimidazole drugs like fenbendazole interact with tubulin to inhibit its polymerization. This is important because microtubules form parts of a cell’s cytoskeleton and provide structure and shape to cells. This interaction is also how a variety of cytotoxic anticancer drugs act. These drugs include vinca alkaloids such as vinblastine, vinorelbine, and vindesine, but also taxanes such as paclitaxel and docetaxel.

This inhibition of tubulin polymerization by fenbendazole causes a mitotic catastrophe in cancer cells. This is triggered by the binding of cyclin B1 to CDK1 during G2 phase. This leads to phosphorylation of cyclin B1 and the subsequent ubiquitination and proteasome-mediated degradation of cyclin B1. In addition, fenbendazole can induce ferroptosis in colorectal cancer cells by inhibiting the uptake of cysteine by SLC7A11 and/or by the expression of glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4).

Joe Tippens is an American veterinarian who was reprimanded by the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia in 2023 after posting videos online that claimed that fenbendazole cured his small-cell lung cancer. Since then, he has published a number of articles on his website and is hosting weekly webinars for people who are seeking to use the drug as part of their treatment regimen. Although fenbendazole has been proven to be effective in treating animal helminth infections, long-term exposure for human consumption has not yet been extensively studied. However, anecdotal evidence suggests that the drug is very well tolerated when taken at single dosages of up to 2000 mg over ten days.  fenbendazole for humans
